The UK’s first & only certified organic beeswax candles
Beeswax Candles | Certified Organic, Natural & Non-Toxic
BEESWAX CANDLES
All of our candles incorporate organic beeswax. We partner with Europe’s finest certified organic apiaries and our organic beeswax candles are certified organic by the Soil Association.
Our partner organic apiaries must meet very strict standards annually. For example, a 6km diameter around the hive is required to be free from pesticides, main roads and waste sites. Harmful practices like the destruction of bees in the combs & mutilation of queen bees are strictly prohibited. They must be independently certified organic by one of their own countries approved organic certification bodies and satisfy annual inspections.
The Benefits of Beeswax Candles
100% Natural
Beeswax candles offer countless benefits compared to alternatives like paraffin, soy wax, and rapeseed wax.
Beeswax is a truly natural product, produced by young worker honeybees. These bees consume honey and convert it into wax through a remarkable process within their bodies. Special glands on the underside of their abdomens secrete the wax as clear droplets, which harden into flakes when exposed to air.
In contrast, rapeseed and soy waxes are derived from vegetable oils through hydrogenation—a process that alters their chemical structure in ways that do not occur naturally. Paraffin wax, on the other hand, is a byproduct of petroleum refining, far removed from anything in nature.

A Cleaner Burn
Beeswax candles burn cleanly, producing minimal soot and no harmful toxins, making them an excellent choice for a healthier indoor environment. Unlike other candles that may rely on chemical additives, beeswax candles are completely free of artificial substances, delivering a truly natural candle-burning experience.
Longer burn time
Beeswax candles have the highest melting point of all candle waxes, which means they burn slower and last longer than alternatives.
When compared:
- Soy wax: Burns 10-15% faster than beeswax.
- Rapeseed wax: Burns 8-12% faster than beeswax.
- Paraffin wax: Burns up to 30% faster than beeswax.
This longevity not only makes beeswax candles more cost-effective but also allows you to enjoy their warm, natural glow for much longer.
Beauty
The beauty of beeswax candles extends far beyond their rich golden hue and delicate honey-like scent. These candles tell a story of harmony—between bees, beekeepers, and the local environment.
Choosing beeswax candles supports the essential work of bees, our vital pollinators, and promotes their flourishing. Supporting certified organic beeswax candles means contributing to a legacy of environmental stewardship, sustainability, and mastery.

Beeswax Candles FAQs
Beeswax candles are the only truly 100% natural candles. Unlike soy, rapeseed, paraffin, or coconut wax, which require industrial processing and chemical changes, beeswax is created naturally by honeybees and collected in its pure form.
This makes beeswax cleaner-burning, free of toxins and soot, and better for indoor air quality. Beeswax also lasts longer, with a higher melting point than soy (10-15% faster burn), rapeseed (8-12% faster), and paraffin (up to 30% faster). Plus, certified organic beeswax meets the highest standards for purity and sustainability.
Choose beeswax for a healthier, longer-lasting, and eco-friendly candle experience.
A 100% beeswax candle typically has a natural golden hue, a subtle honey-like scent, and over time, it develops a “bloom”—a natural, powdery coating that is a hallmark of pure beeswax.
To ensure authenticity:
- Check the ingredients label: Look for “100% beeswax.” Terms like “beeswax blend” usually indicate a mixture with other waxes.
- Look for certifications: Organic or natural certifications help confirm purity.
To guarantee a true 100% beeswax candle, trust certified organic standards.
